We had a question come up from our local fire department. They asked if they could have access to our back door code and our alarm code to use in the case of a fire emergency. I do not think that this is a good idea at all due to the inability to monitor the potential people who could access our building and turn off our alarm system. Have you ever heard of a bank doing this before? I wanted to get your input before I respond to them.

We had a situation where one of the tellers thought that an account holder was recording them. After reviewing video, we can’t see this happening but in this day and age of phones it is very possible that they did. What do you suggest to prevent this from happening in the future?

Due to staffing shortages, our branch manager has decided to send only one staff member for ATM servicing, as opposed to the usual practice of sending two individuals. Is this a safe security practice?"
