We have a risk management committee that doesn't include our security officer, HR or internal audit. Should they be included as regular members?

When driving home at night, I routinely conduct inspections of our buildings. However, during a recent program, the instructor emphasized that merely conducting these regular night checks may not suffice. The instructor suggested that I should enhance the effectiveness of my nighttime drive-by inspections. Is this approach acceptable?

1) Is physically security training required by the FDIC or any other regulator?
- If so, is annually sufficient or does it need to be more frequent, and who needs it?
2) Do visitor logs require ID numbers? (drivers licence, state ID, badge etc)
3) Do third party vendors need to be supervised while working in a branch?
