When customers have NSF items, we usually give customers time to make deposit if they like to pay those NSF items. We have an account that has five NSF items today and customer made deposit. The account now has enough funds to pay two NSF items, but the customer requested us to return all those NSF items as NSF. Do we have to pay the two items that now can be covered by the deposit that was made today or can we return them all as NSF? We collect fees for both pay and return items.

If a bank has an employee overdraft policy where each employee is allowed (3) overdrafts annually with no fee charged, does this policy also apply to Executive Officers and Directors? Or even if there is an employee plan, paying an OD item and not charging for an overdraft for an EO or Director would be a violation of Reg O?

We are getting "push-back" from our statement printing vendor on the question of the correct format for the fee totals disclosure required by Section 1030.11(a) of Regulation DD. We are asking that internal grid lines and dollar signs be included, but our vendor is arguing that they're not required. Who is right, please?

The bank advertises a "free" debit card. There is no fee to issue the card. The customer gets unlimited free use of the card at bank-owned ATMs and POS/signature-based transactions. However, there is a limit to the number of free ATM transactions allowed at non-banked owned ATMs and PIN-based POS transactions. After a certain number of transactions in a month, the customer is charged a fee per PIN-based withdrawal. For non-bank ATM transactions, the fee is in addition to any fee charged by the owner of the ATM. In your opinion, can the bank advertise "free debit card" without being inaccurate or misleading in this scenario?
