Our processor says we don’t have chargeback rights since a purchase was made using Mastercard SecureCode. Can we deny the claim since the cardholder’s password was used?

In Reg E, our customer disputes ATM withdrawals from August 2021 until present, July 2022. She 'claims' someone must have taken her card out of her wallet and replaced it. We are working with the police to get video footage at the ATMs for over 109 transactions. As I understand Reg E, we begin with the first unauthorized withdrawal and count 60 days from date of statement for that charge. The remaining unauthorized transactions that occurred after the 60 days are not covered under Reg E. Is that correct?

If a customer files the claim and the reason they choose is unauthorized but then goes on to say they authorized the payment they just feel like they were scammed can we deny based on the fact they admitted to authorizing the payment?

Our customer received a call telling them their CashApp account was compromised, and they needed to verify the password. After they did this there were several authorized CashApp transactions. Can we tell the customer they have to resolve the issue with CashApp?

Since Visa’s Zero Liability covers ATM withdrawals and PIN transactions. It is even worth investigating Reg E claims since we are always on the hook?
